Zenith Joan Arthurhults Torba Obituary (1933 - 2016)

Zenith Joan Arthurhults Torba passed away November 11, 2016. She was born January 17, 1933 to Milo S. and Oma (Carmack) Arthurhults at home in Converse, IN. She was valedictorian of her graduating class at Converse High School in 1951. She was employed at Bendix Corp in St. Joseph, MI from 1951 until her retirement in 1985. She took some time to enjoy tending her flower gardens, feeding and watching the many different birds that visited her yard and traveling. She then began a new career working for the Tom Rossman State Farm Agency in New Buffalo, MI and enjoyed over 20 years with them. She married Dominick Torba in 1990 in Las Vegas, NV. He survives along with a daughter, Linda (Neil) Goddard; a son, Howard (Sarah) Phillips all from Three Oaks, MI; grandchildren, Nathan, Nichole, Marina and Deanna; great-grandchildren, Aeden, Emily, Zennon and Lucas; sister, Joyce (Wilbur) Hostetler; brothers, Carl (Barbara) Arthurhults and Donald (Dee) Arthurhults. Zenith was preceded in death by a sister, Zelda Snodgrass, a brother Dale Arthurhults, as well as her parents. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan.
