Theada Maxine Anderson Obituary (1947 - 2016)

Theada Maxine Anderson, 89, of South Bend, passed away on Thursday, August 4th, 2016 with her family by her side. Maxine was born on February 4th, 1927 to the late Kermit and Theada Hindel in Argus, IN. On August 7, 1947 she married Lyle A. Anderson and shared "68 years with one Norwegian". She worked nearly twenty years as an auditor at Ramada Hotel in South Bend, now the Waterford Estates. She then worked fifteen years at Hans Rintz Leather Shop in South Bend. Maxine had a very kind heart and loved children; she spared no expense and had no conscience when spoiling her grandchildren. She was selfless and always willing to open her home to anyone who needed love or a family. Maxine is survived by her children, Debra (Ted) Steele, Randy (Debbie) Anderson, Mark (Andrea) Anderson and Lisa Anderson-Luckey; fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle Anderson on May 20th, 2016; parents, Kermit and Theada Hindel and mother/grandmother, Rosie Hindel. Funeral services for Maxine will be held graveside at 11 am on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, IN.
