Specialist Ronald Benjamin Cauffman "Possum", 26, of Elkhart, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 27, 2018. He was born June 7, 1991 in Berrien Twp., MI to Charles and BethLynn Cauffman. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Benjamin "Possum" is survived by and deeply loved by his fiancee, Kayli Crocker; parents, Charles and BethLynn; grandparents, Midge Cauffman Jacobs, Glen & Elaine Withers; siblings, Ryan (Victoria) Cauffman and their son, Dominick, Chad Cauffman, Laura Ashley Cauffman and children, Sky & Levi, Samuel Cauffman; Uncles and Aunts, Danny Lee Cauffman, Ronda (Wanda) Adams, Cindy Schrimshire, Mary (Randy) Gray, Jimmy (Jaquava) Pritchard, Wayne Pritchard, Woody Pritchard; and loved by many cousins. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Ronald Eugene Cauffman; maternal grandparents, Pansy and James Pritchard. Funeral services for Benjamin "Possum" will be held at 6 pm Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
