Sherry Lynn (Moyer) Jutson Obituary (1959

Sherry Lynn (Moyer) Jutson, 57-years-old, passed away on Thursday, March 2nd, 2017, at her daughters home in Niles, Michigan surrounded by her family and friends. Sherry was the only daughter born to Clyde and Mary Ann (Spisak) Moyer on March 11, 1959, at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. As a young woman she was in girl scouts, and enjoyed traveling up north to her cabin in Carp Lake, Michigan with her family. She was a graduate of Southfield High School class of 1977. She then went on to attend Oakland University. In the early 80's Sherry became a secretary for Couples Products in Texas where she met the love of her life, an ironworker, James Richard Jutson. They eventually married on March 19, 1983. Sherry and James relocated to Levering, Michigan where Sherry's main focus was on raising their children, Jamey, Heaven, and Crystal. In 1996, James and Sherry purchased a local tavern Clyde's Place in Carp Lake, Michigan from her father. Sherry was diagnosed in 1996 with cancer where they gave her less than a year to live. Sherry fought hard for a many of years through several health conditions that could have taken her life at any time. Sherry's goal was to stay strong and raise her children, something that she excelled way beyond. Sherry was a God fearing woman, who was known for her generous, caring, and loving heart. Sherry is preceded in death by her parents: Clyde Edward Moyer Sr. and Mary Ann (Spisak) Beck, as well as her children: daughter Crystal Dawn Jutson, and stepson Jeremy Michael Jutson. She is survived by her husband, James Richard Jutson. Her son, Jamey Ryan Jutson his wife, Kimberly Marie (Chapman) Jutson. Her daughter, HeavenLeigh Jutson and her significant other Eddie Alcala. Her brothers, Clyde Edward Moyer Jr, Randy A. Moyer and his wife Annette Muriel (Koka) Moyer, Andy B. Moyer and his wife Marilyn Louise (Compton) Moyer, and John Moyer and his husband Michael Wiebracht. As well as her eight nieces and nephews, and her grandchildren, Brianna Michele Jutson, Madison Lynn Jutson, Mackenzie Ann Jutson, and Jameson Richard Jutson. A celebration of her life will be held by her family on Saturday, March 11th, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Summit Church, 1700 W. River Road, Niles, Michigan with a luncheon to follow at the Senior Center, 810 Rynearson, Buchanan, Michigan. Memorial visitation will be from 12:00 pm until the time of the service. We are grateful for her time on earth and the joy she gave everyone she came in contact with. She will be greatly missed.
