Sherrie An York Obituary (1962 - 2015)

Sherrie An York (Moore), 52, of Buchanan, died at 3 a.m. Tuesday, January 27, 2015, at her home of natural causes. She was born April 9, 1962, in San Francisco, CA. Sherrie lived in the Buchanan-Niles area the majority of her life. Sherrie married David M. York May 26, 1989, in Pokagon. He survives in Buchanan. She is survived by her husband David; father Guy (Beverly) Moore, of Watervliet; daughter Lacey (Jason) Stachel, of Sterling Heights; son, Tyler (Samantha) York, of Buchanan; brothers Daniel Moore, of Niles; Joel (Kathy) Moore, of Three Rivers; Robert Jackson, of Dowagiac; sisters Kristine Abbot, of Watervliet; Sherree Wilkey, of Elkhart; brother in law, Ronnie York; mother-in-law, Ann York; and grandchildren Wyatt and Scarlet York, of Buchanan. She was preceded in death by her mother Joyce Jackson, 2012 and her sister Cheryl Sink, 1998. A memorial service will be held by the family on Feb. 11 at 1 p.m. at Hope Community Church, 2390 Lake St., Niles. Family and friends are welcome.
