Paul "Pete" T. Klutts, Jr. Obituary (1940 - 2014)

Paul "Pete" T. Klutts, Jr. of Buchanan, passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan with Pastor James Bartz of Grace Lutheran Church, Eau Claire officiating. Viewing will be one hour before the service from 10-11 a.m. and burial will follow at Ruggles Cemetery in Baroda. Memorial contributions may be made to the Southwestern Humane Society, 641 South Crystal Avenue, Benton Harbor, MI. Paul was born on April 24, 1940 to Ethel and Paul Klutts, Sr. in Trumann, AR. He grew up in Baroda and graduated from Lakeshore High school in 1959. On November 28, 1959 he married Novella Klutts at a ceremony in Benton Harbor, MI. Paul loved pheasant hunting, bow and gun deer hunting, working on cars, bowling and doing tournaments with his two sons. He enjoyed family gatherings and being able to see all of his grandkids. Paul was always one to give a helping hand and his family was his main priority. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Novella; children, Keith (Laurie) Klutts, Ken (Diane) Klutts, and Loretta (Jim) Banish; sisters, Ruby Adams, Shirley Klutts, Charlotte Klutts, and Virginia "Willie" (Art) Zielke and nine grandchildren. Paul is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Frank Klutts and sisters, Mable Turney and Kay Billman.
