Pat Troike Obituary (1941

Pat Troike, 70, of Watervliet, departed this world with her family by her side and went to meet her Savior on Monday, March 5, 2012 after a brief illness. Pat was born in Benton Harbor, MI to Earnest & Mildred (Fowler) Stafford on November 10, 1941. Pat was a Whirlpool retiree. Pat enjoyed crocheting, listening to music, and greatly enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune, and spending time with her family. Pat's passion was reading especially on her Kindle. Pat was blessed with a witty personality. Pat wished to be an organ donor and thanks to her selfless gift, someone else will enjoy her passion of reading. Per Pat's wishes, there will be a private memorial service with her family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in care of Hoven Funeral Home, or to the American Red Cross since during her illness she was touched by and frequently mentioned the recent tornado victims. She is survived by her children, Melanie Troike of Coloma, Vicki Clark of Hartford, Rob Troike of Daytona Beach, FL and her "baby" Jennifer (Alan) Sill of Watervliet; her grandchildren, Aaron Sill of Watervliet, Trisha Troike of Hartford, Kirsten Sill of Watervliet and Jacob Clark of Watervliet; great grandson, Tristan Martin of Hartford; her sister, Sandy Quinn of Arkansas; her brother, Allen (Gertrude) Davis of Bangor; numerous nieces and nephews; brother in law, Mike Gallagher; and her special buddy, her cat Cass. Pat was preceded in death by her parents; infant brothers, Earnest Jr. & Stanley; and her sister, Dorothy Gallagher.
