Naoma Maxine Kershner Obituary (1927

Naoma Maxine Kershner, 86, of Bridgman, passed away Friday, January 3, 2014 at Jordans Life Care Center. Naoma was born July 31, 1927, to Arthur and Edith Young in Indiana. She was a school teacher for fourteen and a half years and was a member of Chikaming Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Sawyer. On August 27, 1966 she married David Kershner. She is survived by her husband of 47 years David Kershner, two daughters; Joyce Edwards and Gail Laughtman, two brothers Lloyd and Gail Young, one sister Jackie Conrad, three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Naoma is preceded in death by her parents. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 10, 2014 at Chikaming Seventh-Day Adventist Church with Pastor William Dudgeon of Chikaming Seventh-Day Adventist Church officiating.
