Nansy May Payne Obituary (1944

Nansy May Payne, 69, of Sawyer, passed away on Friday, July 19, 2013 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph, of natural causes. Nansy was born on April 26, 1944 in Chicago, IL to Otto & Sigrid Nygaard. She lived in the area since 1962 and worked as an Inspector with Kaywood in Benton Harbor. On January 15, 1962 in Effingham, IL, she married Allan J. Payne. Surviving family include her husband, Allan J. Payne of Sawyer; sons, Clint A. (Regina) Payne and Mark F. Payne, both of Sawyer; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild; brothers, Norman Nygaard, Raymond Nygaard and Charles Nygaard; and sister, Sylvia Moran. A family gathering will be held at a later date.
