Miles Kemp Curry Obituary (1931

Miles Kemp Curry, 86, of St. Joseph, MI, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at his home. Miles was born on February 22, 1931 to Lucille and Kemp Curry. He lived in Carlisle, IN until his marriage to Erma E. Hughes on June 28, 1952. In 1959, they moved to Niles, MI where he worked for Henco Enterprises and later rose to the position of President of the company. After 23 years at Henco they moved to Parsons, KS for 4 years and then retired in 1987. They retired to a home on Table Rock Lake in Blue Eye, MO. In 2013, they moved to St. Joseph, MI. During their retirement they enjoyed lake activities and extensive traveling. Survivors include his wife, Erma, of 65 years. He is also survived by five children, Joe, Jan, Dawn, Lisa and Brian; three sisters, Velma, Wilma, and Marge; twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A memorial service held by the family will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hoven Funeral Home, Inc., Buchanan.
