Dr. Michele "Mike" Douglas Breland, 73, of Buchanan, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Lakaland Medical Center in St. Joseph. He was born on September 30, 1944 in Buchanan to the late Goldie and Ollie Breland Sr. On June 5, 1975, Mike married Nancy Hall. Mike is survived by his wife of 42 years, Nancy; son, Nathan Breland; daughters, Sharon Breland, Sylvia (Joshua) Breland-Dilday; sister, Margaret DePriest; grandchildren, Ethan, Clayton, Alyssa, James, Kayleigh, Allyson, Nathan Jr, Sarah, Carleigh, and Jeffery. He is preceded in death by his parents, Goldie and Ollie Sr.; brother, Ollie Breland Jr; sister, Joan Spencer; and granddaughter, Ashley. Funeral service for Mike will be held at Noon on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Hoven Funeral Home Inc, Buchanan. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Buchanan. Visitation will be held from 6 - 8 pm on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 and one hour prior to the service on Thrusday.
