Max "Bill" William Koenigshof, 88, of Buchanan, MI passed away on Friday, May 20, 2022 at Forest Glen Assisted Living in Dowagiac, MI. Bill was born September 20, 1933 to Herman "Ed" and Sylvia Koenigshof in Buchanan, MI. On April 20, 1962, Bill married Loretta Lee. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Bill owned his own business, Max Casting Co., in Niles, MI. Bill is survived by his son, Steve (Janet) Koenigshof; stepdaughter, Sandy (David) Yircott; brothers, John Koenigshof, Jerry Koenigshof; 4 grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, 2 step grandchildren, and 2 great-great-step grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Sylvia; wife, Loretta; stepson, Ronald Stone; brothers, Robert Koenigshof, Rex Koenigshof; and sister, Kate Koenigshof Donovan. Funeral service for Bill will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan. Visitation will take place two hours prior to the service.
