Lavina Joan Decker Obituary (1942 - 2018)

LaVina Joan Decker, 76, of Buchanan, MI, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Lakeland Medical Center in St. Joseph, MI. She was born March 27, 1942 in Niles, MI to the late Edward and Geneva Schrader. On April 16, 1960, she married Norman Decker at a ceremony in Buchanan, MI. LaVina is survived by her husband of 58 years, Norman; children, Dennis (Cindy) Decker, Cynthia (Tom) Haines, Kathryn Griffith; siblings, Edward (Cathy) Schrader, Susan Brandon; grandchildren, Julie Wenger, Namath Teeter, Kevin Wenger, Heather Helt; great-grandchildren, Brayden Ramey, Kherington Helt. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Geneva; and sister, Linda Kohler. Funeral service for LaVina will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Hoven Funeral Home Inc.
