Lanah Kay Glosson Obituary (1939 - 2018)

Lanah Kay Glosson, 78, passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Buchanan Meadows assisted living community. Born to Kenneth and Florence (Townsend) Lewis on September 9, 1939 in Morgan, MI, she moved to Buchanan in 1944 with her family when her mom remarried. Lanah graduated from Buchanan High School in 1957. She is survived by sons Chris Glosson and Tim (Dawn) Glosson, of Buchanan, sister Joan (Dean) Toll of Palmetto, FL, stepsister Helen Morlock of Benton Harbor, MI, and many loving and supportive nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack Glosson, sister Betty (Max) McCarty, stepfather Lyle Hanover, stepbrother Les Hanover and will be buried beside her loving husband and our beloved father Alvin John "Jack" Glosson. As an office administrator, Mom was happiest at Buchanan Middle School; but she worked for The Veterans Administration, Clark Equipment, Buchanan Industries, and T & M Boiler Repair as well. Lanah enjoyed much during life; band, piano, crochet, sewing, bingo, traveling, computer and card games; but finally settled on family and friends, playing UNO, and collecting glassware. She was a good Mom and very dear friend. We will miss her at the table.
