Kathy S. Nelson Obituary (1954 - 2017)

Kathy S. Nelson, 62, of Buchanan, passed away on February 6, 2017 at Lakeland Community Hospital in Niles. She was born on April 16, 1954 to Elmer and Audrey Anders in Lansing, MI. Kathy was a University of Michigan fan along with a Nascar fan. Dale Earnhardt Sr/Jr were her favorites. She loved her pets. She also enjoyed going to the casino. Kathy is survived by her companion, best friend, and fiance, Tom Dickey; daughter, Melissa Hess; son, Dano Potter; brother, Andy Anders; sister, Kay (Mike) Coulter; grandchildren, Seth, Caleb, Kaitlyn "Funny Face", and David. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Audrey; and brother, Gary Anders. Cremation has taken place. Family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
