Kathie Georgenia Bartos Obituary (1950 - 2016)

Kathie Georgenia Bartos, 65, of Three Oaks, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at home surrounded by her family. Georgenia was born on July 19, 1950 to the late George and Bonnie Roberts in Paw Paw, MI. On April 16, 1966 she married Mike Bartos at a ceremony in New Buffalo. Georgenia enjoyed landscaping, gardening, traveling the country and visiting national parks with Mike on their motorcycle. She also enjoyed eating at restaurants, camping with friends and spending winters at their home in Okeechobee, FL. Most of all Georgenia loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of almost 50 years, Mike Bartos, Sr.; children, Jeffery Mike (Stephanie) Bartos II and Paula (Brian) Wilkey; grandchildren, Katie Willis, Krista (Jacob) Stark, Kyle Bartos and Nathan Bartos; step grandchildren, Zachary Colpitts and Noah Colpitts; great grandchildren, Lauren Willis and Colten Willis and sister, Rita (Frank) Dabbs. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held by the family at 3 pm EST on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Free Methodist Church, 12 E Michigan St, Three Oaks, MI.
