Jeffery C. Redding Obituary (1964

Jeffery C. Redding, 48, of Baroda, died June 27, 2013 at Jordan's Life Care Center in Bridgman, after a lengthy and brave battle with brain cancer. Jeff will continue to help others by being an organ donor with the University of Michigan, a partner in his fight. Jeff served in the US Marine Corps and was a member of Baroda American Legion Post 345. A truck driver and corvette lover, Jeff loved a good joke, a big steak, and beating his Rummy opponent, John Keith, whenever he could or sharing stories with good friend, Dave Burns. Jeff is survived by his mother, Karen (John) Harner of Baroda; a daughter, Jessica (Ryan) Mann of New Carlisle, IN; step-mother, Francis Redding of Galien; a sister, Kathy (Brian Wahl) Redding of Baroda; and his beloved dog, Bud. Jeff was preceded in death by his father, John Redding; and grandparents, Robert and Alvena White and Glen and Mary Redding. A celebration of life will be held July 5, with visitation beginning at 10:00am with service beginning at 11:00am at Zion United Church of Christ in Baroda. Donations may be made to Hospice, Baroda American Legion Post 345, Zion United Church of Christ, or an organization of your choice.
