Janiece Evelyn Arnold Obituary (1924 - 2012)

Janiece Evelyn Arnold, 88, of Niles, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at West Woods of Niles of natural causes. Janiece was born on July 19, 1924 in New Carlisle, Ind. to Ernest & Carrie Walters. She was a very active church member and a homemaker. On May 27, 1942, she married Marvin M. Arnold, who preceded her in death on Nov. 24, 2001. She is also preceded in death by on son, Lowell Arnold and daughter, Rebecca Mounce. Surviving family include her sons, Thomas (Brenda) Arnold and Wesley (Marian) Arnold, both of Niles, and Jonathan (Pam) Arnold of Houston, TX; daughters, Faith Rice and Valerie Arnold, both of Texas; 21 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, seven great great-grandchildren; brothers, David (Atha) Walters of Harvey, ND and Paul (Esther) Walters of Statesville, NC; and sister, Barbara (Carl) Thurston of Sioux Falls, SD. Services will be 11am on Wednesday, August 29, at Bethel Apostolic Tabernacle, Buchanan. Visitation will be from 5 - 8pm, Tuesday, August 28 at Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan & one hour before the service on Wednesday at the church. Burial will take place in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Buchanan.
