Ivan M. Hearld Obituary (1944 - 2016)

Ivan M. Hearld, 72, of Edwardsburg, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at Elkhart General Hospital. Ivan was born on October 26, 1944 to Junior and Bertha Hearld in Coldwater, MI. On August 10, 1970 he married Rita Copas at a ceremony in Morgan County, Kentucky. Ivan was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed playing horseshoes. Most of all Ivan enjoyed spending time with his family. Ivan is survived by his wife of 46 years, Rita; sons, Mark Copas, Ivan (Mandy) Hearld and Floyd (Angela) Hearld; mother, Bertha Hearld; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sisters, Susan (Cliff) Lape and Joyce Brown and sister in law; Bonnie Hearld. He was preceded in death by his father, Junior Hearld and brothers, Floyd and Edward Hearld. Cremation has taken place. The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
