Haywood Robert Harris Obituary (1938 - 2016)

Haywood Robert Harris Jr., a longtime resident of the Niles and Buchanan area, passed away on December 27, 2016. Haywood was born February 7, 1938 to Haywood and Minnie Harris in Caruthersville, Missouri. He was a graduate of Buchanan High School. He served in the United States Army and was a technician at Clark Engineering Test Lab. He is survived by his brothers Chester (Delores) of South Bend, Curtis (Shirley), and Leonard (Nancy) of Battle Creek; his sisters Dorothy and Jeanne Harris of Buchanan; his daughter Cydney, and her mother Muriel Harris. A memorial gathering will be held at Hoven Funeral Home in Buchanan, on Wednesday, January 4, at 1:00 P.M., with visitations at noon.
