Gertie May Green Obituary (1935

Gertie May Green, 83, of Niles, MI passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at her daughter's home in Northwood, OH. She was born January 5, 1935 in Milligan Ridge, AR to the late Ovid and Alice Haff. On November 1, 1949, Gertie married Earnest Warren Green in Paragould, AR, whom preceded her in death in 2004. Gertie is survived by her son, Daniel (Shanyn) Green; daughter, Patricia ( Chuck) Sitterlet; brother, Hozie (Laura) Haff; sister, Mary Yerian; grandchildren, Mackenzie (Cody) Green Cole, Shelby (Kayla Gottschalk) Sitterlet, Dana (Travis Johnson) Green, Charles Sitterlet, Nakai Green; great-grandchildren, Fayah Pearison, Leonardo Green, Stormeigh Cole, and Bowen Johnson. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ovid and Alice; husband, Earnest; brothers, Troy Haff, and Bill Haff. Funeral service for Gertie will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan, MI. Visitation will be held one hour prior. Burial will follow at Galien Cemetery.
