Firmer James King Obituary (1932

Firmer James King, 87, of South Bend, IN, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at Memorial Hospital. He was born January 17, 1932 in Vandalia, MI to the late Theo and Lucille King. On November 23, 1951, he married Wilma Jean Richardson in Buchanan, MI. Firmer participated in several athletic activities and was also a member of the FFA while attending Cassopolis Schools in Cassopolis, MI. He later served in the U.S. Navy. He worked at Electro-Voice, and retired from Clark Equipment, and Bendix. Firmer is survived by his son, Scott King; two grandchildren, Heather King, and Anthony Scott King. He is preceded in death by his wife, Wilma; parents, Theo and Lucille; son, Michael Firmer King; one brother, and three sisters. Cremation has taken place.
