Destany Rose "Rosie" Frick Obituary (2000 - 2011)

Destany Rose "Rosie" Frick, 11, of Niles, died the morning of Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, at her home in Niles of natural causes. She was born April 15, 2000, in Niles, where she was a lifetime resident. She was a student at Oak Manor Sixth Grade Center in Niles. Destany played the flute; bowled every Saturday on a league; liked to bake and eat cookies; and help mom, dad and her big sister Hailee around the house. She was loved by her family and friends and she will be missed by everyone. She is survived by her parents, Terry and Hollee Frick of Niles; brothers, Terris Frick and Kallen Frick, at home in Niles; sister, Hailee Frick, at home in Niles; maternal grandparents, Brenda and David Young of Dowagiac; paternal grandparents, David and Rexene Frick of Niles; aunts and uncles, Erin (Mike) Allen, Angie (Rick) Anderson, Bethann Frick and David (Stacey) Frick; and cousins, Kalyn, Bailey, Dylan, Dave, Kurt, Lilly and Virginia. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, at Hoven Funeral Home in Buchanan with Pastor Dan Greegor of Sumnerville Baptist Church in Niles officiating. Burial will be at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens in Niles. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, at the funeral home.
