Darlene Virginia Tefs Obituary (1942

Darlene Virginia Tefs, 69, of St. Joseph died of natural causes at 12:45 a.m. Sunday, April 8 , 2012, at Lakeland Continuing Care Center, St. Joseph. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, at Riverview Cemetery, St. Joseph. Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan is in charge of arrangements. Darlene was born Oct. 12, 1942, in Benton Harbor and was a lifelong area resident. She was a secretary at Kolesar Trucking in Benton Harbor. Darlene was a member of Napier Parkview Baptist Church, Benton Harbor, and a member of St. Joseph, Coloma and Berrien Springs Senior Centers. Survivors: Ben Schaub, her surviving partner of St. Joseph; sons, Timothy (Jennifer) Tefs of Cincinnati and Terrell Glenn (Amy) Tefs of Berrien Springs; three grandchildren; brother, Robert Stohrer of Benton Harbor; sisters, Wanda Eichaker, Becky Stohrer of St. Joseph. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Margaret Stohrer.
