Cruz "Manuel" Flores Del Angel, 77, of Baroda, MI, passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Lakeland Hospital, St. Joseph. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Cruz was born May 3, 1940 in Tantoyca Veracruz, Mexico to Francisco Flores and Leonicia Del Angel. Cruz has legally been in the United States for over 40 years. He enjoyed working for local farmers in Southwest Lower Michigan. Cruz was a hard worker and cared very much about his close friends who he considered his family. Cruz was very passionate about caring for others. He would go without to give to those who needed. You could always rely on Cruz to be there for you. Cruz is survived by his lifelong companion, Shirley Craft of Baroda. Since he has lived in the U.S. for so long he is also survived by many extremely close friends, who he considered family. He was preceded in death by his mother and father both of Mexico.
