Christian Lynn Peterson Obituary (1945

Christian Lynn Peterson, 76, of Buchanan, MI, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Hanson Hospice Center of Stevensville, MI. He was born March 12, 1945 in Buchanan, MI to the late Martha and Ransom Peterson. He was a welder/fabricator by trade. He loved fishing, coyote hunting, target shooting, trap shooting and being outdoors. He was a state champion horseshoe thrower. He also loved throwing darts; amassing many state, local and league trophies. He married Patricia Ann Sirovica on April 26, 1969. Christian is survived by his children, Joanie Peterson, Christian (Pearl) Peterson, Patricia (Bill) Wozniak, Eric (Shonda) Peterson Sr, Keith Peterson, Kevin Peterson; grandchildren, Abigail Darling, Eric Peterson Jr, Courtney Cagle, Brandon Stinnett, Ali Love, Katy Wozniak, Chelsey Peterson, Andy Wozniak, Grace Wozniak, Emily Peterson, Christian Peterson, Tori Peterson, Lizzie Peterson, Kassi Peterson, Alaina Peterson, Noah Peterson, Anna Peterson, Luke Peterson; great-grandchildren, Kosta Peterson, Patrick Brankle, Delilah Brankle, Aidan Simpson, and Sophia Cagle. He is preceded in death by his parents, Martha and Ransom; wife, Patricia Ann Peterson; brother, Robert Peterson; and sister, Melba Peterson. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held by the family on March 4th at 11am at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 415 N.Brookfield St., South Bend, IN, 46628. Burial will take place at a later date in Calvary Cemetery, Niles, MI. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan.
