Carrol Dean Kirk Obituary (1936 - 2013)

Mr. Carrol Dean Kirk, born October 22, 1936 in Sesser, Illinois to Alvis & Grace Kirk, passed away on February 15, 2013 at 2:20pm in Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. He came from a big family of 11, remaining 10 brothers and sisters together. Family was important to him. He went into the US Air Force as a young man. While in there, he found the love of his life, Brenda Ruth Mitchell. They were married April 1, 1961 and spent the next few decades making a life with her. When discharged from the service, he became a truck driver and had 3 beautiful children. He had 7 wonderful grandchildren. He seemed to have it all and more. He will surely be missed. Our dad loved fishing and hunting and spending time outdoors with family and friends. A memorial graveside will be held at 10:00am, April 1, 2013 at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
